Michelin Development in the UK offers the following support to small and medium sized enterprises up to 250 employees (SMEs).

Access to finance

• Unsecured loans from £5,000 through our associate bank

• At Bank of England base rate

• Repayment period of 3 to 5 years

Note: in most cases the applicant will be required to invest some of his or her own equity into the project.

The funding is private so it can normally be used to 'gear up' public and other forms of loan funding.

Access to advice and expertise

• Access free of charge to independent advice from Michelin's considerable in-house expertise.
  Anything from health & safety to recruitment, or sales training to productivity improvement.

• Where the product or service is appropriate the client may be invited to tender for Michelin business.

• Finally a press release will be created for all successful applications, thus providing the potential for valuable publicity.
